A Glowing Castello di Casole Wedding.This wedding was by far one of the most colorful we have ever shot. It truly was an amazing experience being surrounded by this multitude of colors and shades: hot pink, red, bright yellow, orange, green, and baby blue!
From beginning to end, the event took place at the beautiful Castello di Casole, a Belmond Hotel, a historical venue nestled in the perfect spot of the typical Tuscan hills and vineyards. Where the sun sets right in front of your eyes and everything all of a sudden seems magical.
The big day started with the bride and her bridesmaids downplaying the sudden rainfall by popping a bottle of champagne, having some good laughs, and helping the bride get into her dress. While the ceremony was supposed to be in the majestic amphitheatre of the venue, facing the rolling hills, because of the bad weather the amazing dream team of this wedding worked hard to turn something bad into something special.
The ceremony was moved to the Castle’s courtyard, sheltered from the rain. Multicolored flowers along the aisle led the way to a beautiful arched flower composition crawling up the walls, through which the guests could still enjoy the view of the hills. At this point the rain was just a distant memory with an explosion of colors that made this moment shine at its best!
The sun was shining again, so we took advantage and headed to the gardens for bridal party photos and couple photos with the stunning Tuscan backdrop. The day continued with dinner in the glass greenhouse. The flower décor was truly the true star of this wedding, there were flowers throughout the whole space, not only on the tables and hanging over the imperial table, but also on the colorful custom made chandeliers!
For the cutting of the cake, while the bride changed her look into a mini dress featuring a naked back with a huge white ribbon and her Jimmy Choes, the greenhouse was lit by multiple string lights while the live band started playing and the guests were ready to hit the dance floor!
